I liked it.  It was something different and (for me unexpected).  I think he did a good job liping underwater.  And there were hot chicks too.  Whats not to like?

Now did anyone get the week early album download?  Take it from me  STA is awesome.

Mike

I like the vidoe too. It's much more original than his other videos I think. I find his underwater singing very entertaining. :D

I did get the early download. I LOVE it.

I know right!!  I don't think i've ever seen a video with singing underwater.  :)

I think STA might be better than stop.  But I still like Australia the best......Oh who am I kidding I like it all.  Your thoughts Jessica?

Thanks,

Mike

Definitely better than SATWN. And Australia should just go get itself its own little planet because nothing will ever be like that album. But I thoroughly enjoy all of Howie's music ...minus Collide..sorry. ;)

I was really worried that the video was going to be another one of those "walk around then makeout with some chick" videos. I was sooo relieved when it wasn't.

Although the girl swimming out of the light is a little cheesy. lol

@ Jessica :

I agree with everything you said.  Collide is the only HD song I won't listen to.  It dosen't repersant Howie at all....  :P

"I was really worried that the video was going to be another one of those "walk around then makeout with some chick" videos. I was sooo relieved when it wasn't."

Right on.  :)

"And Australia should just go get itself its own little planet because nothing will ever be like that album"

I know right.  I got my hands on the Daze version a while back.  I think it sounds more true to his voice then the cleand up one.  What do you guys think?

@ Collin:

Right on.  :)

thanks

Mike

Decent video, but does anyone else find it annoying that when he's singing "underwater," bubbles aren't coming out of his mouth?

It says on howieday.com that " It was shot as photography stills that were later stiched together to form a video"

This video is called "Been There"  I can't find anything on this song even lyrics wise.  You are a big Howie Day fan.  Do you know anything about this song?  I play guitar and was trying to find something on it.  I don't know if it was ever released.  Another person told me its his original song and not a cover.  Help me out if you know anything.  Thanks,

JT

Nice find, I didn't think there could be any Howie out there I haven't heard, but I have not heard this song before.  Even though it is old, it's new to me.   Thanks

I did find on the UK howie page it suggest this song would be on the new album, along with a lot of other old stuff that did not make it. Below I pasted the updadte that was on the UK page.

Album Update!

So things have been pretty quiet of late in the Howieverse recently. Howie has taken the summer off to chill out and relax before the much-anticipated release of Howie's third album. Rumours on Howiefan suggest the track listing as follows:

  1. Be There
  2. Longest Night
  3. From Here
  4. Oxygen
  5. No One Else [Been There]
  6. Undressed
  7. Sound the Alarm
  8. Miracle
  9. So Much Love
  10. Obvious
  11. Ceasefire
  12. Damage

With "Obvious" hotly tipped to be the first single off the new album in the fall, the album is rumoured to be released later in time for Christmas. *WATCH THIS SPACE*

been there was one of my faves for awhile. i have 2 recordings on my ipod. one recording has some banter and he says something at the end like "ok so that song was called been there and this one is called be there, so i was thinking on the new album the first song could be be there and the last song could be been there"

i was bummed that it wasn't on there. i was bummed that we  didn't hear 'from here' 'miracle' and 'damage' oh and oxygen.

i personally think that so much love should have taken the place of so stung, he was playing them both at the same shows. oh well i'm happy.

by the way steve !!!

look closer and there are some bubbles
